COVID-19 Participant Guidelines - as of January 2022
Given the rapid changes in state and county regulations, and the county's updated directives, it is currently not required for parents to sign a COVID-19 participation agreement for our activities, which are considered "low-impact".
However, as a Youth Organization we are still required to follow the County's Youth Program requirements (https://covid19.sccgov.org/mandatory-directive-case-reporting-k-12-schools-and-youth-programs). Activities are being modified to encourage social distancing and limit sharing and/or touching.
We ask that all families collaborate with us in ensuring a safe environment for all our participants, and maintain the following COVID protocols:
· Per the mask directive, masks are required for all participants age 2 and over, when indoors, regardless of vaccination status. They are not required when outdoors. Please refer to the county website for the most recent mask guidelines: https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/COVID-19/guidance-for-face-coverings.aspx
· Sanitizer will be available and asked to be used in between activities, prior to a high-touch activity, and before and after snack time.
· Snacks will be store-bought, pre-packaged only, and cannot be shared.
· Social distancing will be encouraged. Please make every attempt to socially distance from those not in your household.
· We ask that all families conduct health checks at home before coming to any Homenetmen event or activity. Please do not attend if:
· You or your child are experiencing any symptom of illness such as cough, runny nose, vomiting, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
· You or your child have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
· You or your child have been diagnosed with Coronavirus/Covid-19 and not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities.
